From Ascension Day until Pentecost Sunday we will be joining with churches across the town, across the nation and across the world in praying for God’s kingdom to come. The Archbishop’s of Canterbury and York have called all in the Church of England to make space to pray especially for those who don’t yet know Jesus. At Sunnyside we’ll be playing our part in this prayer initiative with a variety of different times to pray happening throughout the 10 days. Everyone is welcome to come and be part of this, whatever your age or stage of life, whether you’d consider yourself a seasoned person of prayer or still getting to grips with it.
