weekday morning prayer 9.00am to 9.30am

On Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday a short service of Morning Prayer is held in the Lady Chapel. This is lay led and available to anyone who wishes to take part. Clergy attend on Monday and Friday.  A choice of short orders of service is available.

wednesday morning prayer 9.30am to 10.15am

Between twenty and thirty people gather in the chancel (usually in the round) and share worship for three quarters of an hour.

1st Wednesday – A service of Holy Communion based on the Book of Common Prayer

2nd Wednesday – A service of Morning Prayer

3rd Wednesday – A service of Holy Communion (Common Worship liturgy)

4th Wednesday – A service of Morning Prayer.

We sing, pray, read the scriptures and share together. We usually take the prayers off the prayer requests board and use them in our intercessions. This is a relaxed service which many view as an oasis in the middle of the week. We have coffee at 10.15am.

On the fifth Wednesday of the month at 9.30am we join with the congregation of our sister church down the road at St. John the Evangelist Bourne End for a service of Holy Communion.

saturday morning prayer breakfast 8.00am to 9.00am

At 8.00am on Saturday mornings we meet for coffee and breakfast followed by prayer at 8.30am.

On the first Saturday of the month we meet at St. John’s Bourne End.

On the second and fourth Saturdays we meet at Sunnyside.

On the third Saturday we join with the Association of Berkhamsted Churches (ABC), which take turns to host the breakfast.
