special services
‘Special services’ covers services that we run that are in addition to our normal daily and weekly worship.
Approximately once a quarter we run a Wednesday evening ‘Refresh and Reconnect’ gathering in the church, which allows us to worship, share information, ask questions, study, discuss and pray together as a church, and to cover things we wouldn’t be able to do in a normal Sunday service.
As well as this, we run ‘Occasional Services,’ such as Thanksgiving for the birth of a child, Baptism, Confirmation, Weddings and Funerals.
We also run ‘Children in Communion’ and ‘Preparation for Confirmation’ courses.
Three times a year, prior to Easter, at Harvest and Christmas time, we have a ‘Songs of Praise’ style service at 2pm on a Monday, followed by afternnon tea in the hall. The next one is ‘Easter Songs of Praise’ on Monday 2 April.We can provide transport where necessary.
Once a year we have a Thanksgiving Service for the bereaved. All those bereaved in the past year are invited to join us at our regular 10am service time.
