Praying for our weekend away

‘And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.
With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.’
(Ephesians 6.18)

Our weekend away is rapidly approaching. Our plans are coming together and we are really excited about what God is going to say and do through this weekend. I hope that our sermon series on the letters to the churches in Revelation 2-3 is beginning to help us think about our life as a church at Sunnyside. What would Jesus write to us? What would he say we are doing well? What areas of our life together might he encourage us to address so we can be better witnesses for him? We can start thinking about this in our conversations together on Sundays and in our small groups and will continue to do so whilst we are away in November.

It is really important that the weekend away is rooted and covered in prayer so we are going to have a series of special prayer meetings to do just that. We will meet 8pm-9pm in the Breukleman Room on the following Thursdays:
11th October
18th October
25th October
(no meeting 1st November because it is half term)
8th November

Please do consider coming to one or all of these prayer meetings so we can commit our weekend away to God. If you would like further information, please speak to me.

with love and prayers
