We have booked ensuite accommodation for everyone, and you just need to specify whether you’d like a single room, double or twin. En-suite family rooms are also available. We will do our best to accommodate everyone’s requirements. There is no single supplement. To look at some photos see here.
No, not unless you choose to. There is no single supplement so you don’t need to share accommodation to keep the cost down.
High Leigh is a conference centre set in beautiful grounds. Outside there is a fenced games pitch, children’s outdoor equipment. Some distance away from the main outdoor activity area is an unfenced lake, so we ask parents to be aware where their children are at all times.
Inside there is a games room with table football, table tennis and pool as well as board games. The lounge area has a bar for use in the evenings. Wifi is freely available at High Leigh.

The conference centre website has further information about the facilities and you can even take a virtual tour!

You can come to as much or as little of the organised events as you like. So if you want to bring a book and chill for the weekend, that is fine. The children’s programme will allow you to attend the teaching sessions.  On Saturday afternoon the following activities will be available:

      • A guided walk (suitable for adults or older children) in the Lee Valley (bring walking shoes/ boots, and warm/ waterproofs)
      • A tile painting session for adults.

If you fancy a swim at the local swimming pool on Saturday afternoon, do bring your swimming costume and towel and 50p pieces for the locker.

Yes! We want you to get to know the Sunnyside family even better, so there will be an evening event on the Saturday as well as a walk and other events. Everything is optional.
Yes. The weekend should feel relaxed and easy for everyone to socialise. If those who don’t normally come to church want to attend the main sessions they are most welcome. But if they prefer to they can have a coffee and relax or use the conference centre amenities.
This is a chance to chat to a trained guide about your relationship with God with the aim of enabling you to have a deeper relationship and closer walk with him. We’ve invited two spiritual directors to join us on the Saturday, and you can arrange to meet one of them for a quiet and confidential chat.  If you’d like to take this opportunity please sign up when you arrive.
Some people may like to make a donation for the weekend away to enable others to attend. If you feel you’d like to do this, and are able to gift aid it, please indicate this on the form.
