Worshipping together while apart

This morning Hilary and I joined with others from Sunnyside across the town as we worshipped God together while apart. We lit the candles to remind us that the light of Jesus continue to shine and rang the bell so all may know that God continues to be praised in Sunnyside.

Shout for joy to God, all the earth!
 Sing the glory of his name;
    make his praise glorious.
Say to God, ‘How awesome are your deeds!
    So great is your power
    that your enemies cringe before you.
All the earth bows down to you;
    they sing praise to you,
    they sing the praises of your name.

Psalm 66.1-4

    I listened in this morning and found the service really helpful. Of course it wasn’t the real thing, but it was good to mark Sunday morning in this special way. Andrew was superb as usual. I shall be thinking over the points he made instead of having our usual house group tomorrow.

    “Fully Connected” is a technical term in ‘LAN/Netwok Theory’, and seems to be what Sunnyside is approaching…
    We listened to Justin Welby at 8-ish on Radio 4, then(virtually) joined in on Sunnyside’s service at 10 (via our House Group’s Zoom session).
    Indeed “Shout for joy to God”!
