Thank you to all who came to our annual meetings on Tuesday 27th April. 63 of us gathered in person and on zoom for these important meeting in the life of Sunnyside Church. We looked back at what God has done over the past year and gave thanks for his faithfulness to us. We then turned our gaze forwards and thought about what he might be calling us to be and do in the year ahead. We also did some legal things so that we are properly constituted as an organisation such as accepted our annual accounts and elected our churchwardens and new members to the PCC.

We said a huge thank you to Chris is stood down as churchwarden after seven years of faithful service and elected Kathy to serve as warden in his place. Tony was re-elected to serve another year. We also welcomed three new members to the PCC: Laura, Ruth and Trevor. We are grateful to all of them, and Penny who stood for re-election, for their willingness to serve God and us in this way.
