For many of us the natural world, and in particular our gardens, have provided, space, sanctuary, and fulfilment over the past twelve months of challenge and uncertainty.
As we move forward into summer, and what hopefully will be a time when we can reconnect with members of our Church family and local community, the idea of holding a day of Open Gardens has been developing.
The broad outline of the event is as follows:
Five members of Sunnyside will act as host and receive visitors to their gardens on the afternoon of Sunday 6th June 2021, between 2pm and 6 pm.
The main purpose of the event is to provide an opportunity for people to meet in a relaxed setting and share time together in our beautiful outdoor spaces. All the host gardens will have direct, external access and will be spacious enough to allow social distancing between different households. The event is subject to restrictions being lifted in line with the UK government’s roadmap out of lockdown.
If you would like to visit one, or all of the gardens, please contact Sunnyside Office for further details of the gardens you can visit or contact Jane Vaughan 01442 872984 or Ailleen Fyfe 01442 862682.
