If you have been in the churchyard recently you will know that we urgently need to tackle the weeds and long grass. The tidy up will be run by Simon Lewis. Communal break at 11.00 pm – bring your own refreshments
Churchyard Group revived post lockdown
Lesley Culley and Simon Lewis will together be organising the Churchyard Group from now on, following the retirement of John Cartwright. We want to include as many people as possible. Whether you are a skilled gardener of have no gardening skills but like fresh air and beautiful surroundings there will be plenty for you to do. We plan to run several Saturday morning sessions over the summer months where we can work together and enjoy each other’s company. As well, we hope to set up a number of “mini groups”: people who would like to take on a particular responsibility, large or small, and do it at times to suit themselves. That way we can include people who like to work in a quieter way or who can’t make the regular Saturdays. If you have limited energy or strength but would like to do a bit we can find something suitable for you.
