In the last few months Simon Lee from Northchurch Baptist Church has joined the Christians Against Poverty (CAP) Debt Centre in Hemel Hempstead as a Debt Coach responsible for supporting clients in and around Berkhamsted and Tring. As well as offering free debt support the local CAP team are also running the Money Course, a free course that will teach you budgeting skills and a simple, cash-based system that works. Since the onset of COVID-19 in 2020 and as a result of the recent cost of living increases many more people are now struggling with their finances or accumulating unmanageable debts.
