Each month we pray for two of our mission partners. During November we are praying for The Hospice of St Francis and The Leprosy Mission.

The Leprosy Mission is a global Christian organisation founded in prayer over 145 years ago and leads the fight against leprosy seeking to bring about transformation through research, treatment and advocacy. Sunnyside has both Paul Craig and Diana White on its UK board of trustees. 

• Please pray for The Leprosy Mission in Myanmar who are still under military rule, and a banking system making it almost impossible to pay the local team. This may lead to the loss of senior staff at the major leprosy hospital together with supplies of medication and drugs.
• Please pray that these crises may be averted and full treatment services can continue for the many people affected by leprosy in that country.

The Hospice of St Francis is a charity that helps 2000+ local people and their families to live their precious lives well through improving symptoms, achieving personal goals and helping them to feel safe
They have asked us to pray

• that fundraising efforts continue to bear results even when donors might be affected by cost of living increases
• for new funding for children’s support services; counselling, group support, art therapy and family activities (previous funding stopped)
