We are joining in with the national Big Help Out on the Bank Holiday Monday following the King’s coronation. When we looked at the responses to the Listening Project, concerns about the environment was one of the major issues raised and so we (Mission Action Group in association with the Eco group) have decided to do a litter pick in the parish – probably focussing on George St / Ellesmere Rd area.

We will meet at Church at 11 am and will litter pick for approx 1.5 hours  Equipment will be provided but do bring  a litter picker if you have one. After the litter pick, we will meet for a picnic lunch in the Vicarage Garden (or the hall if wet). Drinks will be provided.

We encourage all ages to get involved in the litter pick (and if you are not physically able to do litter picking, you would be welcome to join us for the picnic). Please note that children will need to be accompanied.
