Each month we pray for two of our mission partners. During November we are praying for Church Mission Society and Rennie Grove Peace Hospice.

Church Mission Society: Chris & Veronica first visited Sunnyside in 2012 at the start of a challenging mission life into which God called them with the Church Mission Society (CMS). They have visited us several times since with their two children, Samara and Gabrio and have since had an addition to their family in their son, Zeal, aged 3. Their home is near Valencia, which Chris also uses as the administrative office of the mission agency of which he is International Director and which periodically requires him to travel overseas. Additionally, they both share in ministering to people of all faiths in their local community.  Please pray for:

• Chris’s mission agency supports a local Turkish couple who are involved in sharing the gospel in their country. They were both born and brought up in Muslim families but many years ago they heard the good news of the gospel and were convicted by the Holy Spirit. They are both passionate about sharing the good news of Christ with their Turkish countrymen. God has been calling them to the UK to reach out to Turkish Muslims in England. Pray that the Holy Spirit provides them with the ways and means to realise this call.
• After several years of COVID restrictions, we were finally allowed to travel again to the United States to speak about the ministry in the Arab world. We drove across five states, preaching and sharing at different churches and other meetings. At one point during our ministry travels in the US, we remember staying in seven different places within two weeks. In spite of the travelling being intensive at times, we were so grateful for the warm welcome and loving hospitality that we received from many different families (some of whom had never met us before). Please pray that these links continue to flourish and grow and for the ways in they help to support ministry in the Arab world.
• Since our return to Spain, we have also restarted the grocery distribution ministry for which we are responsible. Families in need have already started calling Chris. Please pray that God will continue to use this ministry to touch hearts and draw people to Him.

Rennie Grove Peace Hospice care is a charity providing specialist care and support for adults and children with a life limiting illness in Herts and Bucks so that they may live the best possible life with a choice as to where to be cared for. In July 2023 the Rennie Grove Hospice and Peace Hospice merged to help meet the growing need for Hospice services in the area. They have asked us to pray for:

• those attending and those running compassionate cafes (drop in sessions) designed to help people deal with loss especially those experiencing loneliness
• those attending and running compassionate support hubs where those diagnosed with a life limit illness can meet up with others and be provided with support, guidance and advice
• for all the volunteers currently working with Rennie Grove Peace Hospice and for more volunteers to come forward particularly to help with the setting up of the Berkhamsted community hub
