At Sunnyside we are committed to showing the love of Jesus to our community by serving our neighbours. As a parish church we have a particular responsibility for those who live in our parish. We seek to serve our community in many ways; these include:

• maintaining our grounds so people can enjoy them
• taking steps to look after God’s world better by things like the recycling station and litter picks
• running regular things like Messy Babies, Messy Church, Friday Youth Clubs, Lunch Club, Men at Home and the walking group
• offering support for people at keys moments of their lives through baptism, marriage and funerals
• praying for our roads

We also run events to help people to meet with their neighbours and enjoy time with us. We have two such community events coming up: the barn dance on 27th January and the George Street Park event in the summer (see below for more information).
