All those who have been bereaved in the past year are invited to come along and join either the 9.00am or 10.30am service to give thanks to God, and to pray for those who continue to grieve.
The 9.00am service is the more traditional with hymns, songs and a teaching sermon. The 10.30am service is a more modern service with lively worship, less liturgy, with a more relaxed and open feel with testimony and interaction. There is also a full children’s programme. It has the same sermon as at the 9.00am service, often by the same person. House group notes are also provided for both services.
Both these Thanksgiving Services will contain prayers for all those who grieve but we do not mention individual people or families by name. There will, however, be an opportunity at the end of each of the services for you to light a candle in memory of a loved one.
