Next Sunday we are getting more sophisticated!

We have been working hard to ensure that we can continue to worship together as Sunnyside while we are apart. Given that we are likely to be unable to meet in Sunnyside for a while yet, we are trying something new.

On Sunday 26th April we’re trialling a ‘live’ recorded service using the Church Online platform. This means that the various parts of the service will be threaded together and you will be able to see those involved as well as hear them.

There’s a brief video with me explaining a bit more about it here.

To see and hear the service on the morning of Sunday 26th, you can go to https://sunnysideberkhamsted.online.church/.  Please be aware that the site will be live from 9:45am on Sunday 26th (but not before) to allow you to chat with other members of the church family.  The live chat facility will also remain available for half an hour after the service.

If you have any problems viewing the explanatory video – or the service on Sunday 26th – do please let Rebecca know.  The materials will also be available as a document and audio on the website as they have for previous Sundays in lockdown, so you can avoid looking at us if you prefer! Do let us know how you get on and what you think.

I would like to say an enormous thank you to Tim, Dave and our technical team for all their hard work and for making this possible. We are so blessed that they are willing to serve in this way!

with love and prayers

Rebecca
