Although this year has been challenging for us all in so many different ways we need to remain faithful and give thanks to God for all He has provided for us, especially at this time of Harvest. It is with a heavy heart that we have had to cancel our harvest lunch and Harvest Praise service this year but are so grateful to be able to worship in church and online.
Saturday 3rd October: Messy Harvest
Due to the current covid-19 situation Sharon will be hosting a Zoom session with lots of creative fun and friendship praising God to celebrate harvest. She will also be delivering a “Messy Church in a Bag’ containing most of the resources needed for the session. For more information or if you would like to join in please contact Sharon at [email protected]
Sunday 4th October: morning services
Harvest will be the theme of The Nine (in church) and Ten Thirty (online) services.
As a way of saying thank you for all that we have and sharing it with others, we will be collecting goods for the Dens Dacorum Foodbank. This brilliant charity seeks to help those in our area who are struggling to put food on their tables. Here is the DENS Harvest list with ideas of items that they are in need of. Please remember to bring your gifts with you on our Harvest weekend or drop them into church when it is open for private prayer!
All good gifts around us
are sent from heav’n above;
then thank the Lord, O thank the Lord
for all his love.
