The annual Tearfund Big Quiz will be held on Saturday 19th November 2022 in Church, 7.30pm for 7.45pm start, with Katie Randall-Stratton returning as Quizmaster. Please save the date and start chatting to your church family and friends about putting together teams of up to eight. Solo or smaller numbers welcome and we can put folks together if needed. After raising an amazing £806 including gift aid last year I have high hopes again.

What a wonderful time the 52 of us in Church all had! Eight teams competed against each other with very close scores across the eight rounds (history, geography, entertainment, sport, good news, arts and culture, food and drink, and science and nature) and for the first time ever it went to a tie-breaker naming as many chocolate bars as possible! Agatha Quiztie did their best but The Bitter Lemons could think of more and were awarded an extra point to finish with 40. The Famous Five took home the wooden spoon.
