Each month we focus on one area of our life at Sunnyside: during July we are focussing on our mission partners.
Sunnyside has a long and precious history of supporting a range of mission partners, both in this country and further afield. These partners are working in areas that match our values and priorities as a church. Our support through our annual Gift Day and regular prayer is part of how we respond to our calling to love and serve God’s world. A group of dedicated people keep in touch with our partners and help organise the mission slots which enable us to get to know our partners better.
Our GDI (Gift Day International) and GDUK (Gift Day United Kingdom) groups lead this work with our mission partners and organise Gift Day; we are extremely grateful for their faithful commitment to this valuable ministry. Both groups would love to add to their number so that they better represent the views and prayers of Sunnyside in their work, so please speak to Rebecca if you would like to get involved.
Gift Day 2023 will be launched at our services on 3rd September with a speaker from Leprosy Mission and take place on Sunday 24th September. More information coming soon!
