New Wine

In early August our vicar Rebecca and Katie RS attended New Wine 2023 at Kent Event Centre in Maidstone for a couple of days. There was great worship, time for receiving prayer, inspiring and challenging talks, time to rest and reflect, good food on offer, and lots of fellowship. It was lovely to see friends from afar (Ruth Colderwood was there with her church from Weymouth where she now lives) and friends from Kings Road Church too.

In 2024 New Wine is going back to its Shepton Mallet roots at the Bath & West Showground. Instead of Week A and Week B there will only be one week next year – from Thursday 25th July to Tuesday 30th July 2024 (it’s anticipated camping will be open from 25th lunchtime until 31st lunchtime). Tickets are expected to sell out quicker (particularly child spaces) so we encourage you to get yours soon and also to take advantage of an early bird rate! Rebecca, Katie, Samson, Sarah, Stephen, Em and Reuben already have their tickets. We are hoping we can get a Sunnyside crowd together for 2024 (and as ever we’ll have close links with our KRC friends). Sarah has reserved a communal space for the middle of our area!

All the information you need should be here. In the booking form for Church Name write ‘Sunnyside, Berkhamsted’ and then later under Camping location (should you be staying onsite) for the question “Which region would you like to camp with?” select London and West and then in the drop-down box you will find ‘Sunnyside, Berkhamsted’. Any questions please just ask Rebecca, Sarah, Katie or anyone who is a New Wine old-timer!
