Prayer is a vital part of our life at Sunnyside and essential if we are to ‘be recognised as a Christ-centred community of living faith which seeks to make Jesus known to others.’ which is our vision as a church. We all pray in different ways and have a number of prayer meetings at Sunnyside which is brilliant, but Prayer for Church is an opportunity to focus on praying for the life of the church and the community we serve.  

We are changing our monthly prayer meeting in response to our prayer survey and conversations with our church family. It will now take place on the last Tuesday of the month in the afternoon and again in the evening to allow the maximum number of people to take part:

3pm – 4pm in person in church followed by tea and biscuits for those who wish to stay
7.30pm-8.30pm on zoom

Prayer for Church will take place this term on Tuesday 26th September; Tuesday 31st October and Tuesday 28th November. Make a note of the dates in your diaries. Everyone is very welcome to come. Please speak to Rebecca if you need more information or would like to talk about prayer further.
