This can be a hard time of year for all sorts of reasons and the celebrating going on around us can make it feel even more difficult. It may be that we are mourning the loss of someone we loved, or deeply concerned about the state of the world or badly affected by the long dark evenings. Whatever it is that makes this season feel dark, this service is an opportunity to reflect on loss and hope. We will have an opportunity to name our losses and light candles whilst hearing words of comfort and hope. All welcome.
