Each month we pray for two of our mission partners. During March we are praying for the Pill Trust (Justin and Lucy Groves) and A Rocha International.
A Rocha International
A Rocha is a global family of conservation organizations working together to live out God’s calling to care for creation and equip others to do likewise. Please pray for:
- the staff of A Rocha as they seek to support the work of partners to care for God’s creation
- for A Rocha’s partners as they work on projects to make their communities more sustainable. For example in India, finding solutions for humans and elephants in conflicted spaces and in Lebanon, creating urban green space in the Bekaa Valley
- for our efforts at Sunnyside to take better care of God’s world, particularly our new bird boxes and bug hotels which have been made for us by Sunnyside Rural Trust and are now in the churchyard.
Pill Trust
Please give thanks for the opening of our new play space for young families. It was opened during half-term for our breakfast and board games mornings. We had an average of 30 children each day. Please pray for:
- funding for the Pill Trust Charity: to pay for our community outreach worker; towards developing the church car park so it can be used for other outreach projects as well
- the church congregation: those who are vulnerable and suffer mental health problems; that we would continue to grow numerically
- Lucy as she recovers from her broken arm
