May 2024 marked eight years since we started Community Café! See photos for a 15-month-old Samson helping Katie to deliver leaflets!

Another great Community Café was held in Church on Saturday 18th May 2024, with Penny H and Sarah setting up refreshments (see photo for an action shot!), Lucinda M hosting Craftea (she had a lot of ballet folks doing colouring in), gardeners attending for much a deserved pit-stop, and it was appreciated that Sarah also set the church back up. Thanks as ever to the amazing team of bakers. This month’s cake shout-outs go to Becca R for her yummy vegan chocolate cake with biscoff topping (a vegan offering was much appreciated by folks attending) and to Katie’s mum Diane for her rainbow cake (despite the fluorescent looking green layer it was very well received!). The next Community Café will be on Saturday 15 June 10.30am-noon. We’re hoping if the weather is nice to hold it outside (possibly on the grass in front of the church).
