There have been several suggestions that our next challenging issue might be the opportunity to explore in more depth the background and circumstances to the Palestinian Question which has polarised the views of many as historical and political perspectives are challenged by the present conflict in Gaza.

Rev. John Kirkby has spent a sabbatical at the Tantur Ecumenical Institute in Jerusalem where he studied the situation in the Holy Land, and has subsequently led three pilgrimages to the Holy Land.

John will share his experience of his time in Jerusalem and will lead our conversation as we try to make sense of the unfolding conflict.
