Keeping up the momentum of Sunnyside Ladies’ Socials (after 15 of us got together on Friday 17th May 2024 lunchtime at the Boat Pub), we are holding another social on Thursday 11th July 2024, 7-10pm. This has been taking shape for a while so hopefully lots of folks already have it in their diaries and we can have a great catch-up before the summer break!

Following a few enquiries of different venues, Katie has booked an exclusive area in the Boat Pub again (Gravel Path, Berkhamsted HP4 2EF https://www.boatberkhamsted.co.uk). This is for an indoor space but there may be an opportunity to move outside if the weather allows. For this social, we are proposing to keep to just drinks and nibbles so folks can mingle better (but obviously if anyone needs to eat dinner there, that’s fine – Katie is currently tempted with the Halloumi fries or a pudding!).

Please come for as long or little as able – whether that is first thing, later on if you’ve been working, for a nightcap if you’ve already been out, or indeed even just for half an hour in-between ferrying the kids around – Katie will definitely be there for the duration and would love to see you there. Fine to come alone, or why not arrange a shared taxi/lift and travel together, or consider offering a lift to one of our older ladies who no longer drive at night (or at all).

Please encourage folks to attend – we don’t get too many opportunities to get together and enjoy a leisurely chat and drink, so please do come along. No need to book a place in advance.
