Ten ladies of varying ages had a lovely social at the Boat Pub on the evening of Thursday 11th July 2024 – some came earlier, some later; some stayed for the duration. Everyone was particularly thrilled to have Bex Henderson join us! It was a rare sunny day so we enjoyed a chunk of time outside overlooking the canal eating triple cooked chips and desserts, and then returned inside once it got chilly. Whilst we were a more select group than at previous socials – because of holidays, end of term commitments, and illness – the conversations were wonderful and connections were made and deepened.

Apologies for those unavailable to come on this occasion – we’ll hopefully sort another social date after the summer for before October half-term (potentially at the refurbished Old Mill although Katie is open to any suggestions!). We’ll also source a better photographer for our group photo!
