It seems a long time ago now, but at the end of July a group of Sunnysiders spent a week camping in a field in Shepton Mallet for New Wine 2024! We had a wonderful time worshipping with thousands of other Christians and hearing from some inspirational speakers. We also enjoyed spending time together, Ferris wheel rides, t-shirt printing, impromptu cricket and doing lots of other fun things. A personal highlight was family worship each morning with Nick & Becky Drake (whose clever use of chocolate coins to entice people to sit near the front worked very well) and spending time at ‘Breathe’, which is a quieter worship venue.
