We had a wonderful time at the Sunnyside Ladies’ Afternoon Tea on Sunday 23rd March 2025 afternoon. Twenty-three of us ladies got together in the Church Hall from 3-5pm and enjoyed delicious food, warming drinks, and fabulous fellowship! It was great to have a relaxed couple of hours to chat. The sandwich selection from Sainsbury’s went down well, as did the selection of cakes, scones, sausage rolls, cheese twists and strawberries! Many thanks to all who provided food items and helped to set up and clear away. It was intended to be a low cost gathering (with a suggested donation of £5 per person or a food item in lieu of a donation) but folks were generous so after covering costs we actually had a £40.50 surplus which we are sending to Bex!

Apologies for those unavailable to come on this occasion – quite a few ladies were away or had existing commitments – we’ll hopefully sort another social date for around June. As before, Katie is open to suggestions of potential venues.
