Our next Community Cafe of the year will be in Church on Saturday 21st February 2026 (second weekend of half term) from 10.30am-noon hosted by Pam and Katie. Needing to catch up with family, friends, a neighbour, fellow churchgoer you haven’t seen this new year? Why not invite someone and use the space to connect with others over a free cuppa and a nice slice of cake. Or just come solo – your co-hosts would be delighted to have you join us and have the opportunity to chat!

As mentioned in recent newsletters, the Community Cafe in 2026 plan currently has gaps so we could do with additional folks please – in particular on the lookout for Set Back Uppers which can take as little as 30 minutes once per year! For example there’s no one down to set back up this month. Please read the Community Cafe job descriptions and contact Katie if wish to discuss.

Other 2026 Community Cafe dates include: Saturday 21 March, Saturday 18 April (kids will be back at school after Easter holidays), Saturday 16 May (hopefully will be a special celebration to mark Community Cafe turning 10!), Saturday 20 June, none as usual in July and August as summer, Saturday 19 September, Saturday 17 October, then Saturday 21 November (to fit in with the annual Tearfund Quiz), and not in December as a busy month.
