Great sermon, Andrew! All the better, because you took us into what, in today’s world, we write and post online too!
An overnight pause for prayer and reflection upon the recipent and his/her receipt of our message never fails to improve the content and is an excellent practice. It may help us either:
– to perish the thought and press ‘delete’, or if it still needs writing
– to find a kindlier, gentler way of doing so, or if that’s not feasible, then
– to say it to their face, next time you see them
