Each month we pray for two of our mission partners. During November we are praying for local charity Swan Youth Project, and our international focus is Elim Ministries, especially HL in Romania.

The Swan Youth Project

The Swan youth project in the centre of Berkhamsted provides somewhere to go, something to do and someone to listen.
They operate a free drop-in service and lots of activities  for young people aged 11-18.

They ask us to pray:

• that they may be blessed with ongoing funds so that they can continue to make a difference to the young people in our community
• for all the young people who come to The Swan that they may find a safe place and people who listen

Elim Ministries

Let us pray:

• For all the young people who come to Deo Impact youth group – that they would each draw closer to God wherever they are in their walk with him, especially those struggling to give up their way of living and commit to living for Jesus, and for several young people who want to live for Christ but whose parents are not supportive. Please pray for the big Christmas youth event we are preparing, that God would use it to bring people to himself.
• For the two baptism candidates (a mother and daughter) who are currently doing a preparation course, and that God may prompt anyone else who is ready to take this step to join the course.
• For Deo Gloria Church’s new building project which is really taking shape – and for God’s continued provision and protection on the site, his wisdom in decision-making, to see this project through and move into the new building before Christmas. And most of all, that this building will be a tool for the kingdom, helping the church reaching people with the Gospel.
• For continued good health and energy levels for HL, for wisdom in making decisions, and for determination and time to finish her master’s dissertation.
