There was a bumper team of co-hosts – Pam D, Penny H, Megan and Pat S, Sarah and Lucinda were on the craft table, and Katie RS was milling around chatting and then sewing on Samson’s Cub badges! There was a great buzz in the church and some wonderful conversations were had. Excitingly we had some old friends attend who had spotted the new banner on the hedge! There was an amazing selection of treats available – and more than usual ready for the Tearfund Quiz in the evening – and it would be tricky to do a cake shout-out this month but Katie did get a picture of her Mum Diane’s wonderful carrot cake!

There will be no Community Café in December, and we will return on Saturday 18th January 2025 10.30am-noon. Many thanks to all who have contributed in any way to Community Café this year, it is much appreciated. 2025 Community Café dates for your diaries: 18 January, none in February as half term, 15 March, none in April as Easter weekend, 17 May, 21 June, none as usual in July and August as summer, 20 September, 18 October, 15 November (will hopefully coincide with the Tearfund Quiz 2025), and not in December as that’s a busy month.
