Our second Community Café of the year was held in Church on Saturday 15th March 2025 from 10.30am-noon hosted by Katie, Samson and Kristina; Tony and Penny W came to set the church up again, and Tim L held an IT/ChurchSuite surgery. It was an extremely quiet Community Café due to no gardening session and with ballet classes having been cancelled but there were still great conversations as ever – plus yummy cake! See the photo for the great offering, thanks to the bakers! Katie trialled dairy-free and gluten-free brownies, which were very well received. Hopefully folks enjoyed the leftovers which were put out on Sunday morning!

There will not be a Community Café in April as it’s the Easter weekend. The next one will be Saturday 17th May 10.30am-noon which will coincide with our Sunnyside Eco Event. Do come along! Further 2025 dates for your diaries: 21st June, none as usual in July and August because of summer holidays; 20th September, 18th October, 15th November (same date as the Tearfund Quiz 2025), and not in December as that is such a busy month.
