We are delighted to welcome MAF’s Sam Baguma to update us on the work of Mission Aviation Fellowship, with a talk and Q&A session in the Breukelman Room 4.30-6pm on Friday 24th July.
Sam and Abby Baguma are in the UK with their two daughters for a short spell for Abby’s younger sister’s wedding. However, Sam is driving back from Kendal on Friday 24th July and has promised to pop in on us that evening. So, we have booked the Breukelman Room for 4.30-6.00pm, in the hope that some of you may be able to join us for tea/coffee and to listen to Sam elaborating on some of the many challenges that MAF is facing currently in Uganda. You will get fresh updates on the float plane for the Lake Victoria islands, the struggle to complete the resurfacing of the runway at their Kajjansi HQ, progress on a new airstrip for Mbale, the current impact of the Gulf hostilities on MAF’s fuel supply & the difficulties caused by the Ebola crisis. It should be fascinating!
